Uprooted. A book by Mike Hines of Epoch Floral Chicago has created an exquisite book unraveling what we think floral to be. Mike Hines is a Chicago based floral designer working on his first book, Uprooted. Doug Human, a Chicago based commercial photographer also working on his first book.
I had the pleasure to collaborate with Mike on this gorgeous project of all things organic. The book "Uprooted" is set to come out this spring 2016 and is a book largely of photographs and his stunning work. The collaboration was an orchestra of ideas that brings gritty and artful works someplace dark and wonderful. Void of color and rigid tones, this book was an absolute beauty to work on.
